The longest of the three courses at Ford's Colony, Blue Heron is typical Dan Maples -- gorgeous to look at, fun to play, yet difficult to score on. The par-five fourth hole is considered the toughest on the course with a meddlesome water hazard lurking behind a fairway bunker off the tee to the right.
