The Plantation Course, designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, features wide fairways and multi-tiered greens. Although a perfect "first-day" course, you'll still be challenged by water on eight holes, plenty of trees, and some beautiful rolling terrain. Palmer and Seay have teamed up for some fantastic courses through the years and the Plantation is no exception. As the touring professional for Kingsmill, Curtis Strange was asked to design a third course to complement the River and Plantation Courses. Strange and Tom Clark were given a fantastic piece of land tucked away in the corner of the resort to work with. The result is the Woods Course with deep ravines and thick stands of hardwood trees as well as some of the most dramatic elevation changes in the area.
