Golden Horseshoe Golf Club - Gold ~ 1.75 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Considered the "Crown Jewel of Virginia golf," the legendary Gold course at Golden Horseshoe ranks #55 on GOLF Magazine's 2008 "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" based on excellence in design, conditioning and service. Created by Robert Trent Jones in 1963, the course boasts Jones' first island green on the par-three 16th. In fact, all four par threes are memorable in their own right and require a tee shot over water. Tradition Golf Club At Kiskiack ~ 6.88 miles (Not Driving Distance)
A good mix of forgiving holes and "white knucklers" make Kiskiack a perfect choice for all groups. The front nine allows golfers to find their swings with ample landing areas, gently sloped greens while winding through the tall hardwoods and rolling terrain. The back becomes more challenging with menacing par threes, a deep ravine running along three holes, and a perfect "risk/reward" finishing hole.
